Snowy owl found in We Energies' parking lot

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A snowy owl is getting checked by wildlife officials at the DNR and Wisconsin Humane Society.

The bird was found outside We Energies headquarters in downtown Milwaukee Tuesday morning.

We Energies says the bird didn’t appear to be hurt.

Wildlife officials quickly came over and trapped the bird and will make sure it’s okay to return to the wild.
