MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Skylight Music Theatre will stage a new adaptation of a classic tale with "Frankenstein: The Musical" at the Cabot Theatre from Friday, Feb. 21 through Sunday, March 9. The production, directed by artistic director Michael Unger, is based on an original adaptation by Gary P. Cohen and features choreography by Jayne Pink.
Unger and Jeffrey Jackson, who wrote the book and lyrics, joined us on Tuesday, Feb. 18 to chat about the show's unique approach and development, with the aim of bringing a fresh perspective to the classic tale.
The musical reinterprets Mary Shelley’s novel, exploring the consequences of human ambition and the unraveling of the soul.
Performances will be held at the Broadway Theatre Center in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. Tickets are available by clicking here or calling the box office at (414) 291-7800.
