Sisters caught burglarizing on North 22 Street
Two sisters were arrested burglarizing a garage on the 3800 block of North 22 Street around 4:50 AM on September 8.
Milwaukee Police are searching for a third suspect after the group was caught burglarizing a garage on the North Side.
District Five officers responded to the 3800 block of N. 22nd Street around 12:50 a.m. on September 8 for a report of a burglary.
At the scene, they met with the victim, a 59-year-old Milwaukee man, who told officers he saw three suspects trying to break into his garage but he was able to scare them away.
Around 4:50 AM, the officers returned to the area on patrol and saw three suspects loading building material from the victim’s garage into a car. A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman, who are sisters, were taken into custody. A male suspect fled from the scene on foot and MPD is still seeking him.
The suspects had also stolen several other items from the garage, much of which was found at the home of the suspects’ mother in the 3000 block of N. 21st Street.
