MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- At Milwaukee Lutheran High School, a very special reunion happened during their 2026 graduation ceremony.
Milwaukee Lutheran live streamed the moments Kalen Barksdale reunited with his big sister, who was serving overseas for the Wisconsin National Guard.
Before, as Barksdale walked up to receive his diploma, staff acted like they misplaced it, before his sister reveals that she, personally, will be handing him his diploma.
They haven't seen each other his entire senior year.
"Sometimes the most important deliveries take a little longer than expected," said one school staff member. "Especially when they are coming from so far away."
Congratulations to Kalen and welcome home to his sister!
