The historic restaurant closed in February but it's back open weeks after venture capitalist David Braeger bought the property. Braeger says the restaurant will have a mostly all-new staff.
The menu, which once leaned heavily on pub-style food is changed as well.
"My whole goal is what I had when I was about 14. It was just completely family-friendly. It was the type of place you wanted to go when you and your wife didn't want to cook, your kids after a little league game, you just wanted to have fun, great sandwich, great burger," Braeger said.
The restaurant has been repainted and the kitchen has been renovated. Braeger, who is a professional artist, also plans to have art fairs in the summer.
