Silver Alert canceled, missing veteran found safe

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Officials say Gary Miller has been found safe.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Silver Alert has been issued for 72-year-old Gary Miller of Milwaukee.

Officials say Gary reported to the Milwaukee VA Medical Center on 47th and National for an appointment around 2:35 p.m. Thursday, May 27, but left prior to being seen by a provider.

He was seen boarding a Milwaukee County bus headed eastbound.

Gary is described as a white male standing 5'9", 180 pounds, with blue eyes and white, balding hair.

He was last seen wearing a tan Brewers hat, blue hospital disposable mask, black-framed seeing glasses, a blue long-sleeved top, white Brewers jersey, red undershirt, dark colored jogging pants and dark colored tennis shoes. He was using a walker.
