MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Apple picking season is underway at Barthel Fruit Farm in Mequon. Right now, they have apples ready to grab and u-pick orchards are open for picking Zestar and Ginger Gold varieties.

The season is about to get busier with more than 30 varieties available throughout the season. Barthel also has a pumpkin patch and bakery with fresh apple cider donuts and apple fritters made daily.
