Signature Chefs Auction for March of Dimes

MILWAUKEE-The best the culinary community has to offer gathered at the Pfister Hotel November 6th for the annual Signature Chefs Auction.

The money raised through ticket sales and auction items will go towards the March of Dimes which is celebrating 75 years.

The March of Dimes began with the goal of eradicating Polio and now is focussing on preventing premature birth.

Special guests included Terry Klippel of Wauwatosa who survived polio. He was joined by Hilary James and Matt Wolfert and their two young sons Ben and Sam who survived a premature birth and weighed a mere 1 pound and 3 pounds respectively.

\"I just want other women to know that the help is there,\" Hiliary James told CBS 58 News, \" and that if you need a support system, we're here to support you.\"

Some of Milwaukee's favorite chefs were on hand to also support the mission.

They volunteered their time and culinary creations for a tasting in the ballroom on the 7th floor that was nothing short of a trip around the world.
