Shots fired leads to crash in Brown Deer

Brown Deer Police said that shortly after 1 AM Sunday they responded to the area of 60th St and Bradley Road for a report of shots fired and two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed.

Minutes later they received a call for a crash near 60th Street and Fairy Chasm Road.

Police said that a vehicle was speeding when it left the roadway and hit two unoccupied vehicles in a driveway.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was the driver of that vehicle. A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was his passenger.

The driver refused medical treatment and was taken into custody. The passenger was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said that it’s believed that the crash was the result of an incident that started in Milwaukee when the striking vehicle was being pursued by an unknown vehicle.

Shots were fired between both vehicles before the crash.

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to assist with the crash
