Shots fired at car leads to three arrests in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Monday, October 30 around 1:21 p.m. Racine Police Officers responded to Quarry Park and spoke to a victim who said his car was shot at. The investigation revealed that the shooting took place in the 1600 block of Albert Street.

The victim told police there was an altercation with another vehicle that shot at the victim as he was driving away.

Officers found the car near the intersection of Westwood Avenue and Northwestern Avenue a short time later. Three people matching the descriptions of the offenders in the incident were seen walking on the grass in front of Gilmore School.

All three people were arrested on various charges.

Weapons were located in the suspect's car and taken as evidence.

No one was injured during the incident. Schools in the area were notified but there was no danger to any of the schools.
