15-year-old charged with fatally shooting sister during downtown...
A 19-year-old man is reported to be in serious condition this morning after being shot in what is described as a running gun battle between two vehicles.
It happened west bound on Villard Avenue around 12:25 AM Friday.
A nearby business shared exclusive surveillance video with CBS 58 News. The video captures two cars driving side by side, one hitting a parked car. Also, if you look closely you can see people outside of a bar taking cover.
According to Milwaukee Police, residents of the area said they heard multiple gunshots and then a car crash in the area of N 35th Street and W Villard Avenue.
The Police say the victim got out of his crashed vehicle and attempted to flee but collapsed nearby.
He has been taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds.
The MPD is investigating the incident and is searching for the second vehicle, but has no suspects at this time.
