Shooting victim waits 12 hours before seeking medical attention
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near N. 46th St. and W. Hampton around 3:00 a.m. Jan. 21.
According to police, a 25-year-old man was shot near the location during unknown circumstances and did not report the shooting or seek medical attention until 3:00 p.m. later that day when officers were summoned to his location near N. 29th St. and W. Glendale Ave.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
MPD's investigation is ongoing.
