Victim seriously injured after shots fired into car near 42nd and Auer

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 31-year-old was shot and seriously injured in Milwaukee Tuesday, Dec. 2, according to police.
MPD responded to the scene around 9:45 a.m. near 42nd and Auer.
Officials say a suspect shot into the victim's vehicle, striking them. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
