Sheboygan Police arrest woman after stabbing Wednesday morning

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wednesday morning around 7:40 a.m. Sheboygan Police responded to Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan following a report of a stabbing victim coming into the facility requesting assistance. 

The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a disturbance in a home in the 1000 block of Clara Avenue in Sheboygan. The 36-year-old woman received a non-life threatening cut to her stomach and was taken to Froedtert Hospital for treatment. 

A 29-year-old woman was arrested for the incident and a 56-year-old female family member was also taken into custody for obstructing the investigation and released from custody.

Sheboygan Police will be referring a charge of 2nd Degree Reckless Injury to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office. The investigation is on-going and police say there is no danger to the community in connection with this incident.
