Sheboygan County woman fatally shot her father

A Sheboygan County woman fatally shot her father and then killed herself on Thursday.

According to Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the woman called 911 and said she was armed and was going to commit suicide, and was homicidal.

After receiving the 911 call, Deputies and medical units responded to the residence in the N3100 block of Leynse Road in the Town of Lima.  SWAT resources were able to locate the body of Thomas W. Rank age 64, who was deceased.  It appeared that he died from a gunshot wound.

After checking the residence, the body of Sarah L. Soucheck age 38 was located.  She was deceased from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Mr. Rank would be Ms. Soucheck’s father.

The investigation is still pending and 911 tape will not be released until investigation is complete.
