Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office Evacuates Area Near Culver's

Update: Deputies were able to open the mailbox and found only mail inside. No suspicious packages or items were located.

The scene is starting to clear at this time.

The investigation into who made the threat remains ongoing.

Original: Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has closed the immediate area surrounding a Culver’s because of a possible bomb threat.

Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office dispatch center received a phone call in regard to a possible bomb threat at Culver's, 4225 State Highway 42 in the Town of Sheboyan.

The caller advised they should check their mailbox and made reference to a bomb.

Deputies responded to the area, evacuating nearby businesses.

State Highway 42 is closed in the immediate area for the duration as well as Dairyland Drive.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will come once the situation has ended and the roads reopen.
