MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- With 50-degree days popping up here and there, it can feel like spring is here.
While it's right around the corner, Heidi Hornung, with Shady Lane Greenhouse, says the end of April will be the earliest plants will be ready to be in the ground.
While April and May will be prime time for planting and buying hanging plants, you can still get a seasonal pick-me-up by walking through the greenhouses at Shady Lane.
"Our greenhouse is open year-round. And you're welcome, any time, to come in and just start poking around," said Hornung. "Pansies are ready to go but they are not ready to plant. You want to give them a few weeks because those are the first flowers people are going to start planting."
Shady Lane Greenhouse is also known for its G-Scale model train display. March 28, you can see the display and get a visit with the Easter bunny.
