Windy Friday then a chance for frost this weekend
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Several lawmakers in Wisconsin will go head to head with their challengers in debates Friday evening.
Governor Scott Walker will face Democrat Tony Evers. The latest Marquette University Law School Poll has the two opponents neck and neck with less than three weeks until the election. According to the poll, Walker has a 47 percent support to Evers’ 46 percent.
The debate is airing on CBS 58’s sister station, WMLW The M at 8 p.m.
Republican Senate candidate Leah Vukmir will face incumbent Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin at Marquette University at 7 p.m. In the university’s latest poll, Baldwin was up 53 percent to Vukmir’s 43 percent.
Also happening on Friday is a debate between Democrat Randy Bryce and Republican Bryan Steil. They are vying for Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District seat which is currently held by retiring Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.
The debate is being held at Oak Creek City Hall at 7:30 p.m.
