Several teens arrested after stealing candy bars from Brown Deer Family Dollar

BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Several teens were arrested after stealing candy bars from a Family Dollar.

Police responded to the store around 3 p.m. on Sunday. Two suspects were seen leaving the area in a silver Mercedes. The vehicle was located and stopped.

Two of the passengers in the vehicle, a 16-year-old Milwaukee man and a 17-year-old Milwaukee female admitted to concealing multiple candy items.

The 16-year-old was cited on the scene and released.

The 17-year-old driver was found to have a valid warrant with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office and was arrested.

Charges are pending.
