SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office says several people were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Friday, August 8. 

Officials say they responded to the crash on STH 28, near the I-43 Southbound ramp, at around 9:38 p.m. 

Preliminary investigation shows that a sedan traveling westbound on STH 28 attempted to make a left turn to go southbound onto I-43 and struck an SUV traveling eastbound on STH 28. 

The Sheriff's Office says several of the occupants of the vehicles were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The incident caused the southbound on ramp to be closed for a short period of time.
