24-year-old killed after losing control, crashing motorcycle in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- Police say a 24-year-old is dead after a single vehicle motorcycle crash near Commerce and North Avenue in Milwaukee.

The incident happened on Friday, August 7, at around 11:53 p.m.

Police say the 24-year-old has been traveling west on North Avenue when they lost control of the bike and crash.

The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries in the crash and died at the scene. 

MPD says impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
