Serious Chill in The Air by Wednesday Morning

Get ready for some frigid cold come Wednesday morning.  Temperatures will be in the single digits with wind chill numbers in the negative territory.  However, we should be mild enough to stay out of the advisory territory. Remember your cold winter rules.  Warm up your car and yourself.  And make it's a good day not to have the kids waiting at the bus stop.  Instead, keep them in the car until the bus arrives.  Or better yet, take them to school.

Meantime, we still run the risk of snow showers, mainly in the late afternoon and early evening.  But the colder air has really "dried" out the atmosphere, so we shouldn't be seeing the heftier snowfall totals we saw on Monday, including about five inches in Hales Corners.

Looks like there's a reinforcement of cold air by the weekend with a few shots of snow along the way, especially on Friday and Sunday (Valentine's Day.)  The storm system early next week looks a bit more robust.
