Separate overnight shootings wound two

The Milwaukee Police are investigating two shootings on Thursday night, in both cases, the victims are expected to recover.

The first shooting was reported around 8:30 PM in the area of N 106th Street and W Mill Road on Milwaukee’s northwest side.  According to the MPD, a 31-year-old victim was dropped off at a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound.   The Police are searching for a known suspect and are  continuing to investigate the circumstance surrounding the shooting.

Around 10 PM, a 40-year-old person was injured in a shooting that happened in the area of N 23rd Street and W Fond du Lac Avenue.  According to the Police, the victim was treated at a local hospital for the injury.   The MPD is investigating the circumstances of the shooting and are looking for suspects.
