WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Santa's had a busy couple of days but he made some time to pay a special visit to the kids at Children's Hospital on Christmas Day.
Way up at the top of that crane, Santa waved to the kids from outside their windows. More than 150 patients saw Santa Claus on the west side of the building.
Milwaukee area firefighters helped make the visit happen. They say while part of their job includes responding to disasters, they also want to be pro-active in the community.
"When you can see what they're going through and what possibly a day is like here. And there are multiple days. That on Christmas you could bring some joy and some smiles to some kids and some family's faces," said Milwaukee Fire Department Lieutenant Kevin Monaghan.
The Milwaukee Fire Department partnered with the Wauwatosa Fire Department to make the heartwarming visit possible.
