Salvation Army's Toy Shop Opens

Friday was the grand opening of the Salvation Army’s annual toy shop.

This toy drive allows parents to come and pick out gifts for their kids so there's still a feeling of Christmas even though the family might have fallen on tough times.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, some 3,000 families have registered and will take part.

Volunteers have spent the day sorting the toys by age groups.
