MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee’s SafeHouse restaurant held a fundraiser for fallen Milwaukee Police Officer Michael Michalski’s family.
Half of the proceeds made by the restaurant on August 22 went to Michalski’s family.
“We feel it’s very important to support our officers,” Agent Change of SafeHouse said. “They’re a huge part of the community and they take care of us, they support us and we want to take care of them as much as we possibly can too.”
Michalski was shot and killed in the line of duty in July.
