Road closures on I-94

Milwaukee County - This week DOT will be setting bridge girders for future fly-over ramps. Interstate 94 eastbound and westbound will be shut down, between Moorland Road and the Zoo Interchange project. The road work will start at 11pm for the rest of the week, and reopen in time for morning rush hour. DOT spokesperson Mike Pyritz tells CBS 58 road work becomes more complex when it comes to the Zoo interchange.

\"The Zoo interchange project in particular is one of the busiest public work projects in the state's history. It's very complex. There's a lot of coordination, a lot of flexibility in scheduling between utility work that goes on. Placing of steel, painting, and all the items that go in multiple locations.\" Says Mike Pyritz, DOT Spokesperson.

Mike Pyritz also tells CBS 58, DOT will be monitoring the games Friday night. The Brewers will play Pittsburgh at Miller Park, and the Packers will host the Raiders at Lambieu Field. If traffic gets heavy Friday night, work times may be adjusted. For more information on road closures, call 511.
