Friday Update: Road closures in southeast Wisconsin due to flooding

Flash flooding due to heavy rain has closed numerous local roads and highways throughout southeast Wisconsin Wednesday morning. Rain reports have come in as high as 8" in just a few hours.

Multiple local roads are flooding. Here is a list of flooded highways and major roads:

KENOSHA COUNTY:

  • Wisconsin 50 at the Fox River in New Munster closed. Closure expected to last through Tuesday.
  • Highway MB from 142 to Highway E and from Highway C to Highway 50
  • Highway JB west of State Highway 83
  • Highway C from Highway 45 to Highway D
  • Highway KR from Highway H to Highway EA
  • Highway K from Highway EW to Highway 75 and from Highway 45 to Highway D(north)
  • Highway W from Highway 50 to 52nd Street, and from Highway C to Highway JI
  • Highway F from Highway B to Highway W
  • Highway B from Highway F to Highway AH
  • Highway O from Geneva Rd. to Highway F
  • Highway ML at the East Frontage Road
