Riverwest's Centro Cafe permanently closes after 17 years

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Riverwest restaurant is closing its doors after 17 years of business.
A voicemail reached at Centro Cafe Tuesday night said:
"Pat and Peg are saddened to say that they have permanently closed Centro's doors. Thank you, everyone, for 17 years of magic."
Pat Moore and Peg Karpfinger opened the Italian restaurant in June of 2009.
Bar Centro, located next door, remains open Thursday-Saturday.
