Richland woman wins $200k on Mega Crossword scratch game

RICHLAND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Richland woman has won the first top prize of $200,000 playing the Mega Crossowrd Scratch Game.

Rosemary Courtney brought the winning ticket to the Lottery Redemption Center thinking it was a $25,000 winner. Courtney was shocked to learn that it wasn't a $25,000 winner but rather a $200,000 winner.

Courtney purchased her Mega Crossword ticket at the Mobil Mart at 1001 Highway 14 West in Richland.

There are a total of three $200,000 top prizes in the Mega Crossword scratch game – two $200,000 top prizes are still available. In addition to the three top prizes, players can win between $20 and $25,000.

Each ticket costs $20.
