Residents Evacuated after Shed with LP Tanks goes up in Flames

On Sunday April 3, at 8:14 PM the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Dispatch Center received a call regarding a structure fire at 3634 N 17th Street in the Town of Sheboygan. Firefighters were told that the fire was in a work shed that possibly contained several liquid propane tanks according a release from Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department.

Upon arrival of deputies and officers the structure was fully engulfed. Due to the presence of LP tanks a two block evacuation of residences was conducted. 

The origin of the fire is unknown, but is not considered suspicious in nature. There were no reports of any injuries. The structure is believed to be a total lose. 

Residents were allowed back in their homes at 9:04 PM.
