This season, Connaughton averaged 9.9 points per game, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He has become a reliable playoff guard and his development has been crucial for the Bucks. Connaughton was a critical part of the Bucks success during their 2021 championship run, especially when players went down with injuries in the playoffs.
Connaughton's return comes just a day before the 2022 NBA Draft, where Milwaukee currently holds the 24th overall pick.
