Body pulled from Menomonee River, Medical Examiner called to scene

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a death that occurred Saturday, Nov. 20, near 42nd and Mt Vernon.

Authorities say that at approximately 12:23 p.m. Saturday, a body was recovered from the Menomonee River.

Police report that the decedent was identified as a 29-year-old Milwaukee man. 

Officials state that the cause of death is under investigation.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner announced Saturday, Nov. 20, that they were called to a scene near 42nd and Mt Vernon after the body of an adult male was recovered from the Menomonee River.

Milwaukee police are reportedly investigating the incident.

The Medical Examiner stated that an autopsy on the recovered body will be performed on Monday, Nov. 22.
