Repeat Child Sex Offender Sentenced to Life in Prison

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) -A La Crosse man who was charged in the sexual assault of a child for the third time was sentenced to life in prison without parole Tuesday by jury trial.

Sheldon Miller, 59, pled guilty to 1st degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 back in October.

According to the complaint, the victim told his mother Miller had touched him inappropriately on three different occasions in Miller’s apartment.

Miller was sentenced to 5 years in prison for 1st degree sexual assault of a child in 1984 and again in 1991 for 12 years.
