WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Presumptive democratic nominee Joe Biden made history Tuesday, Aug. 11, by picking California Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate.
Harris is the first Black woman, and the first Asian American woman, on a presidential ticket.
Milwaukee Congresswoman Gwen Moore says Harris will reverse a trend that is said to have doomed Hillary Clinton in 2016 -- getting Black voters to the polls.
"An African American woman who understands our experience," Moore said. "It is our job to be inspired about the inspirational prospects of this partnership."
