DELAVAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A very special funeral was held Saturday in Delavan. 75 years after he was killed in battle during World War II the remains of Marine Corporal Raymond Barker were laid to rest.
Cpl. Barker was interred with full military honors between his parents at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.
Barker was killed in November, 1943 fighting the Japanese on the small island of Betio in the South Pacific.
Barker's remains were discovered and identified last summer on the island.
