Cloud cover has been stubborn across the Badger State today, keeping temperatures on the cooler side especially with the blustery northeast wind. It felt like an early preview of fall, but we still have warm summer-like temps on the way. Sunday will feature more sunshine with highs in the low to mid 70s, warming into the upper 70s Monday and Tuesday.
Temps briefly drop into the low 70s Wednesday behind a cold front. That front could bring a few isolated showers to SE WI Tuesday morning, but the chance is looking lower than the past few days.
We'll also have comfortable levels of humidity most of this week to go along with our temps in the 70s.
However, we aren't done with the heat quite yet. Temps warm back into the mid 80s to end the week with upper 80s possible by Labor Day. Warmer than normal temps, mainly in the 80s to around 90, will continue into the middle of the following week.
