MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In Milwaukee, a small gesture of appreciation for firefighters.
The local Red Cross is delivering homemade cookies baked by their volunteers to firehouses throughout the county.
"Just a great way for us to say thank you. We're there side by side with them. They're doing tough work and we just want them to know how much we appreciate them," said Patty Flowers with the American Red Cross.
If you're interested in making a donation to the Red Cross for the Holidays, the best thing you can give is cash or donate your time as a volunteer.
