Record $36.7 Million Scholarship Money for MPS Students

Some well-deserving MPS graduates won't have to worry about how to pay for college. The $36 million dollar amount is double from just three years ago. This is also the third consecutive year for record scholarship money being rewarded.
Eight schools in the district will receive at least one million dollars each with Rufus King International taking the top prize at $7.7 million. The students we spoke with say they're grateful for what they're getting and realize it's not just free money.
The scholarship money applies to either two or four year colleges or universities.
