'RAY-borhood Barbecue Bash' returns to Wauwatosa for fifth year 🍖

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The fifth annual "RAY-borhood Barbecue Bash," organized by Ray's Wine & Spirits and Central Waters Brewing Co., is set to take place in Wauwatosa on Sunday, Aug. 6.

Taking place at the parking lot on 89th St. and North Ave., the Bash features local food trucks and beer specials to mark Central Waters' 25th anniversary.

Orey Laev, owner of Ray's, said in a Monday, July 17 press release, "Working with our friends, Central Waters, who are a huge player in the Wisconsin craft beer scene and combining it with our love and passion for food – barbecue, specifically – makes it even better.”

The Bash begins at noon and lasts until 6 p.m. It is billed as being free and family friendly.

Attendees can expect a day filled with activities including crafts and yard games for kids, music by DJs from Bay View's Rush-Mor records, a live beehive exhibit by Highlands Honey and more.
