BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Some say they're just chicken fingers. Others were willing to wait in a very long line for the newest Raising Cane's location to open in Wisconsin.
Thursday, Sept. 5 was the grand opening for the Raising Cane's location in Brookfield near 124th and Capitol.
Cars stretched all the way down Capitol, and Brookfield police were needed to help control traffic.
Is a place that only sells chicken tenders really worth all the hype?
The people in line say yes.
"We have only had Cane's outside the state of Wisconsin, and it's just really amazing to see it actually here, finally," said Nadiyah Groves, a customer in line.
"I like their sauce. I love their sauce and their bread," said Ella Schmidt, a customer in line.
This is fourth Raising Cane's location to open in Wisconsin. The others are in Kenosha, Madison, and in Greendale.
