Raiola suspended one game for stomping on Bears player

Detroit Lions center Dominic Raiola has been suspended one game for stomping on Bears lineman Ego Ferguson in the Lions-Bears game Sunday. The suspension means Raiola will not be able to play when the Packers and Lions battle this Sunday at Lambeau Field.

The NFL says Raiola has committed six safety related rules violations since 2010. Raiola says the stomp was unintentional and that he apologized to Ferguson after the game.

The Packers and Lions meet Sunday for the NFC North title and a first round bye in the playoffs.
