It's a rainy end to September! A good soaking rain fell for most of southeast Wisconsin Tuesday especially in the morning through early afternoon then we saw a bit of a break around dinnertime Tuesday before more rain started to roll in just before midnight. Rain totals from Tuesday morning through Wednesday early morning ranged from a half inch to nearly 3"!
More downpours and a few thunderstorms are still out there to kick off Wednesday. Those should continue throughout the morning with light showers lingering into the afternoon. Most of southeast Wisconsin starts to see drier air return around dinnertime.
An additional 0.10-0.50" of rainfall will be possible on Wednesday adding to the soaking rain we had Tuesday. A good soaking rain once again for most of southeast Wisconsin that will help our drought conditions.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the rain for one more day.
