RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Beth Heidorn and Abby Flores of the Racine Zoo joined us Tuesday, Sept. 22 to take an early look at a month packed with Halloween-themed events.
Jack O' Lantern Nights lights up the zoo Thursdays through Sundays, Oct. 1-31 from 6 to 10 p.m., with admission at $10. Old Fashioned Fest follows Saturday, Oct. 3, a 21-and-over cocktail competition celebrating Wisconsin's signature drink. Boo at the Zoo brings daytime trick-or-treating Saturday, Oct. 24, included with regular admission. Hallowine, a Halloween-themed wine tasting benefiting the zoo, closes out the month Friday, Oct. 30.
The zoo is also opening its teen and adult volunteer program applications Oct. 1.
