Racine Police investigate attempted homicide at tavern
The Racine Police Department is investigating after two people were shot Sunday morning at RoJo’s Tavern on Yout Street.
Police said that they responded to the tavern shortly after 1:30 PM and found a 23-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was taken to Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center for treatment.
About 20 minutes later, a 21-year-old man arrived at Wheaton Franciscan with a gunshot wound to his leg.
He said that he had been shot at RoJo’s Tavern.
The 21-year-old was treated for his injury and then taken to The Racine County Jail for outstanding warrants.
There are no suspects in custody.
The Racine Major Crimes Unit was activated.
