RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- There's something to wine about in downtown Racine. Kelly Kruse, the Executive Director of Racine Downtown Corporation joined CBS 58 virtually to discuss two upcoming events.

The Wine Walks are coming up on October 8 and 15, 2022 from 1pm-6pm. People can enjoy the change of seasons in beautiful downtown by sampling 20 delicious wines along with 10 beer samples poured at 30 participating businesses.

Tickets for the event are $40 each and will include admission to the Wine Walk's 30 stops, wine sampling glass, a canvas tote bag and snacks at each location.

Kruse also discussed a very popular event in Racine, Party on the Pavement. It's happening on Saturday, September 17th in downtown Racine.

Division BMX Stunt Team will be soaring through the air on the corner of College Avenue and 6th Street. You can catch one of their shows at 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm and 5:30pm. Hip-Hop and breakdance group, Sweatshop Movement, will host jaw dropping dance battles and performances throughout the day on the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and 6th Street. Racine Gymnastics will be tumbling down Sam Johnson Parkway and Racine Wresting will have multiple match ups from 2pm-3pm and 5pm-6pm. Educators Credit Union will have an interactive trailer. with fun games, awesome prizes, and more. Relive the glory days of automobiles at the Nash Car Club of America car show next to the Red Onion.

Party on the Pavement has been a major destination for music lovers from all over Southeastern Wisconsin, and this year is no exception. Whether you are a fan of blues, rock ’n roll, jazz, R&B or everything in between, this year’s diverse lineup has something for everyone. With four stages of live music throughout downtown, you will be dancing through the streets all day long. Here is this year’s music lineup:
