Jacob Kittilstad took the full half hour to have conversations with both candidates for Racine Mayor. The election is planned for Tuesday, October 17 and both candidates are making final appeals to voters.

Sandy Weidner has been the Racine Alderman representing District 6 for the past 17 years. She mounted her campaign later than most of the other candidates in the primary – but she says she was able to advance because her message has resonated with the public. One of her primary issues is reforming the culture of city hall – and as a long-serving elected official she says she knows the best approach. Click here to see Sandy Weidner's campaign website

Cory Mason has represented Racine in the Wisconsin Assembly for nearly 11 years. He says that Racine needs to act quickly to take advantage of the opportunities that the Foxconn Development provides. He says he’s focused on restoring the middle class in the city by working to prepare people for those jobs. He also says he’s committed to keeping the Racine Unified School District whole after a new state law opened the possibility for it to be broken up. Click here to see Cory Mason's campaign website
