Racine & Me, August 6th 2016: Woof Gang Rescue
On this episode of Racine & Me, Woof Gang Rescue visited us with two adoptable dogs to tell us how they are saving thousands of dogs from across the country each year.
Woof Gang Rescue serves people in the Wisconsin and Illinois area but also rescues dogs from down south, in states like Kentucky.
They do not currently have a facility, so the dogs that are rescued are kept in foster homes until they are adopted. The dogs are fully vetted and given certificates for spay/neuter if they are not already.
The dogs that are available through adoption can be seen by visiting the Woof Gang Rescue website: http://www.woofgangrescue.com/ or their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/WoofGangRescue/?fref=ts
You then can set up an in-home visit or visit an adoption event to find out if the dog is the right one for you. The group adopts out numerous types of breeds.
They also work with clients on common behavior issues. They specialize in making sure a dog is place in the right "fur-ever" home, so even a background check is done. To find out more, click above to watch the four segments, or visit the Woof Gang Rescue Website.
