Racine McDonald's fire causes over $150K in damages

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A McDonald's in Racine, located at 2610 S. Greenbay Road, caught on flames early Saturday morning.
Around 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, McDonald's employees called 911 after seeing flames exiting the back of a kitchen appliance.
According to officials, employees unsuccessfully attempted to extinguish the fire before fire crews arrived.
The city of Racine Fire Department said upon arrival, fire crews assisted the remaining employees to safety while containing the fire.
No one was injured.
The building will be closed until necessary repairs are made.
The estimated loss is said to be $150,000.
The fire is currently under investigation.
