Racine Man Fatally Stabbed in Rockford, Illinois

A 21-year-old from Racine was fatally stabbed in Rockford on Thursday.

According to Rockford Police Department, Brian Thomas Abbot was killed at 5:34 AM.

Rockford Police officers responded to the intersection of 10th Street and 6th Avenue in reference to a report of a male subject lying on the ground not breathing.

Upon arrival, officers located a white male, approximately 20-30 years old, deceased on 6th Avenue near 10th Street. The male has been identified as 21-year-old Brian Thomas Abbott of Racine, Wisconsin. Abbott was found with multiple stab wounds.
